Located in rural North West Ohio, my name is Brandon Stahl and the name of my bow company is Rose Oak Creations.
The Rose Oak name was originally used in the 1960’s by my late relative Ray Stahl.
Ray had made a limited number of recurve bows during that time under the name "Rose Oak Bows". As a side note, he had come up with the name from using the partial spellings of the two small towns that the bows were made in, Melrose and Oakwood, hence the name Rose Oak Bows. To honor the inspiration he had given me to start making bows, I chose to use the Rose Oak name for my own company to continue the legacy.
I first started making bows in 1992 on a hobby basis for myself, family, and a few friends. In 2005 I became interested in offering my work to the general public and decided to turn my longtime hobby into a small business.
My experience in bowmaking, along with my experience in machining, small manufacturing processes, and critical eye for design, is a perfect combination of skills for producing some of the finest quality bows in the world.
Being just a small one man operation, my intent is to craft exceptional quality hunting bows in low volumes that are anything but ordinary. Archers and bowhunters who desire premium quality and attention to detail do not have to look any further.
