New Stuff!

New for 2009

For my 2009 line up, I am currently in the process of slightly redesigning, refining, and improving all of my current bow models as well as adding two new ones.  I should have the two new models available for custom orders sometime in February.  More information will be available on these new models in the near future.

Also for 2009, I decided to re include the 11% FET in the prices listed for the bows.  All of the current prices on my website now include this tax.  I have found over the past year that it makes it easier for customers when they are comparison shopping for a new bow, since most bowyers do include it in their prices.

Another thing new for 2009 is that my veneered limb option is now standard and included in the base price of the bow.  I feel that a veneered limb when combined with a limb core of bamboo or maple makes an excellent combination for great shooting characteristics, looks, and durability.   With the majority of my custom orders over the past 3 years being made with veneered limbs, I thought it was time to just make this option a standard.

In addition to the veneered limbs now being standard, I am also offering what I call the "Classic Limb Option".  This includes a time proven limb core of Maple combined with either black or brown fiberglass for the limbs.

For those who are interested in this option, $100 is subtracted from the bow model's listed price.  This difference in price is based on the lack of exotic veneers and bamboo used for the limb, as well as the difference in price that I have in colored glass versus clear glass.   It's a nice option for those who like that classic look and also want to save a little on the cost of their new bow.

Lastly, due to the extremely tedious build process and material requirements, the "Pierce Point Riser Option" is no longer available for custom orders.   However, I will occasionally be making and offering them as inventory bows when I have the time and materials.  I will only be building  just a few of these bows per year.  When they are available, I will list them on my "Bows In Stock" web page.

Thank you,

Brandon Stahl
