In 2008, I was very honored to learn that a King Panther recurve I had donated for the 2008 PBS Banquet was awarded 1st place in the "Professional Recurve" division of the bowyers contest!   This contest is held in memory of the late Jerry Pierce.  It's intended to bring out the best efforts and ingenuity of bowyers who donate to the PBS and recognize them for their efforts.
